Bacon Wrapped Chicken Roulade



Chicken Roulade:


  • Bacon
  • Chicken breast
  • Blue cheese
  • Spinach
  • Lemon zest

Orange sause:


  • Orange juice
  • Bay leaves
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Honey
  • Chicken stock granules



  • Preheat oven to 180 C. Butterfly the chicken breast making sure you don’t tear it. Lay a spinach leaf over the butterflied chicken breast and follow with a slice or crumbs of blue cheese, add lemon zest. Layer the bacon and roll the chicken breast with the bacon, make sure it’s tightly rolled and wrap in cling wrap. Follow this by rolling it in tin foil and cook for 10-15 minutes. Serve while hot and juicy.
