Imagine a Christmas…
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. But all through the jungle activity was rife, as the moon kissed the earth and the bush came to life.
It’s that time of the year again when imagination and dreaming become a thing of normality and smiles and laughter infectious. It’s Christmas time and here at Leopard Mountain celebrations have begun. In an age filled with technology which parents are barely able to keep up with, and children know how to play games on an iPad before they can identify shapes and colour, this is the perfect time of year to reignite the experience of mystery and sense of wonder.
Answers to every question are only a Google search away but what better way to get your kids out of the house, off the computer and back to creativity with the excitement of Santa Clause, Elves, reindeer and why not… Safari? While the holidays are the perfect time for bringing family together, a safari vacation offers children a unique experience at every turn engaging with all five senses and all Big 5. Youngsters and adults alike have been enjoying the festive season with us at Leopard Mountain with close encounters of Elephant, a rise in Leopard activity, and of course, our cute and cuddly two new additions; the Lion cubs.
Only 6 weeks old, the two cubs have been spotted on 4 occasions thus far playing in the dry river bed, stalking the game vehicle and snuggling up close to mum for security and comfort. Cubs will be cubs and kids will be kids making games out of nothing and life out of simplicity. The bush is alive and full of surprise and so our future generation should be as well.
